“HOT TIMES” OF CRIME AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR THE POLICE AGENCY

Abstract

Crimes often have different operating rules in terms of time associated with specific causes and conditions. During certain short periods of a day, week, month, or year, the number and frequency of crime are often much higher than others. The study of crime “hot time” is essential to adjust social management and crime prevention policies. In this article, the author will analyze the nature, controversial issues and propose core solutions to improve the effectiveness of crime prevention in “hot times”.
