The author examines the social danger of the crime provided for in Art. 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation through the object of the crime and comes to the conclusion that criminals who have committed an attack on the life of persons protecting public safety simultaneously have a serious criminal impact on both the life of a law enforcement officer and internal security.
