Abstract

Family law is a branch of law that is unique and has its own characteristics among other social relations. In other words, the family forms a unified and complex relationship that has a complex system containing psychological, moral, economic, and legal relationships that combine spiritual and material needs. Family relationships are formed on a voluntary basis between two people, but there is a lot of domestic violence in society, where one person keeps the other under emotional pressure and squeezes them with money, which is a sign of serious human rights violations. Although there are legal regulations in the criminal law to regulate this, it is not distinguished from a violation, so there is no criminal liability at the relevant court level, which is the reason for raising this issue.
