Abstract

Article is devoted to reviewing of institute of an extradition, as parts of the
mechanism of the international counteraction of crime. The analysis of regulatory base of this
complex legal institute is made. Activities of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian
Federation as competent authority and Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation, as
executive body concerning an extradition are considered. The order of interaction of the above
organs is considered. The conclusion that counteraction of crime is impossible without compre-
hensive communication of law enforcement and other agencies as within the country, and in an
interstate format is drawn.
